Project description
The team exists of 8 co-workers divided into two offices with two leaders. The purpose of the internship is to support the Marketing & Communication department (which includes sales) supporting one or multiple co-workers and one of the team leaders.
There is a lot of possibilities for new ideas and proactivity is expected. Working within the team and continuous improvements are needed to be implemented.
As an assistant in the operational department, you get the unique experience to get to know local projects and families. As you will be communicating with local families and projects, you have to be able to communicate in Spanish.
Moreover, in this position you will be directly in contact with clients. You will work with clients from all over the world, from the United States, Europe, Asia, and other Latin American nationalities. Clients will come to you with questions, problems, comments, or maybe just a chat. You will be one of the faces of the company and will provide high-quality customer service.

Project Profile
- Field: Business, Tourism
- Minimum stay: 4 weeks
- Working hours: Monday to Friday from 8am until 6pm
- Spanish: Basic/Intermediate
- Donation: $50 once
Tasks
- Responding to our daily client e-mail and messages on social media
- Creating content for our social media and writing blog content
- Doing client sales and processing client data
- Identifying and targeting new possible agencies for collaboration
- Participating in the activity night on Thursdays
- Implementing new processes based on previous company research
Project hours
You will work fulltime with flexible working hours.

What are we looking for?
- For this position we are looking for someone with:
- A student studying marketing, communication, and/or sales related studies
- A positive mental attitude towards cultural differences
- High English language proficiency (preferably also basic or intermediate Spanish skills)
- Able to adequately and carefully process confidential data
- Flexible, proactive, communicative, and socially competent
- Prepare and expand your knowledge, skills and competences and help others with this
