Now in Cusco and the Sacred Valley!
Project description
We have an Organic Farm in Urubamba in the Sacred Valley and in Cusco. The Sacred Valley is about 1 hour drive from Cusco and if you choose to be in the Sacred Valley, you will be living with a family in Urubamba.
The main objective of this project is the preservation and protection of the tropical nature.
In this project you will support and help the local workers. You will plant and maintain trees and plants, recollect seeds, fruits, tea, and coffee. Support in the process of making tea, coffee, and chocolate and help the workers in reforestation.
You will live on-site, where they will teach you everything about the organic farm, the coffee making process and the tropical plants and trees.
Project Profile
- Minimum stay: 2 weeks
- Working hours: Monday to Friday from 8:30 am until 1:30 pm
- Spanish: Basic
- Donation: $50 once
Accommodation
Your accommodation will be at an Homestay Family.
Tasks
- Support and help local workers
- Plant and maintain all types of trees and plants
- Recollect seeds, fruits, thee, and coffee
- Support in the process of making thee, cafe and chocolate
- Support in reforestation
Work gear
You may get a little dirty, so bring old clothes and shoes and also a hat against the sun!

Enthusiasm and a genuine interest in nature may be nice to have.
